Go to The UIL Portal and create a new account. Note that this is a new system, and any previous login information from the old registration system will not work.
Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click "Submit."
Answer the security questions presented. These will be used to verify your account if you lose access to your email or password. Click "Save My Security Questions/Answers" to complete this step.
Choose your role from the available options. For marching band directors, select Director Band – Music. Click "Submit" to confirm your selection.
Click the "Registrations and Training" tab on the left side of the screen, then select "My Registrations." Click "+ Start New Registration" to begin registering for your activity.
Select the marching band activity from the list and choose your role from the dropdown menu to the right. Scroll down and click "Submit" to proceed.
Click on your registration to open the Registration Checklist. Scroll down to view all items you need to complete to finish your registration.
Click on each training module listed in the checklist to complete the required safety training. Work through all modules until they are marked as complete.
Once all training modules are complete, scroll to the bottom of the Registration Checklist and e-sign to finalize your registration.
